Counselling
Effective therapy involves a partnership. As a therapist, I listen deeply to what a person is saying and not saying, observe body language and reflect back to them what I am experiencing.
Therapy works when a person has strong negative emotions that are blocking them from living the best life they can. Usually a person knows the trigger for their strong emotions. Triggers can be rejection, being unexpectedly let go from a position, fears about climate change, or being diagnosed with a serious illness leaving them feeling traumatized, lost, lonely, depressed and anxious. To work these feelings, most people must invest time depending on their situation - about six to twelve sessions.
